This privacy policy outlines how this n8n automation project ("the application") accesses, uses, and protects data from Google services.
1. Information We Access
Our application, through the n8n platform, accesses the following data from your Google Account to perform its automated tasks:
- **Google Sheets (.../auth/spreadsheets):** We request permission to read from and write to your Google Sheets. This is used to get daily report information from a designated spreadsheet and update it with status information.
- **Gmail (.../auth/gmail.send):** We request permission to send emails on your behalf. This is used solely to send the email reports compiled from the Google Sheet. The application does not read, delete, or manage your existing emails.
2. How We Use Your Information
The data accessed is used exclusively for the operational purpose of the automation workflow.
- We do not store your data outside of the immediate, in-memory execution of the workflow.
- We do not share your data with any third parties.
- The access is for the sole purpose of automating your internal business tasks.
3. Data Protection and Security Measures
We take the security of your data seriously. The following measures are in place to protect the sensitive data accessed by the application:
- **Access Control:** Access to the n8n instance and its credentials is strictly limited to the project owner and protected by a strong, unique password.
- **Encrypted Connections:** All data transmission between the n8n platform and Google's APIs is performed over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- **Principle of Least Privilege:** We only request the minimum API scopes necessary for the automation to function.
- **No Data Storage:** Sensitive data from Google Sheets is processed in-memory during the workflow's execution and is not permanently stored or logged by the application.
